Sebastian Bach's Abachalypse Now CD / DVD Track Listing

Former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach's brand new CD/DVD package, "ABachalypse Now", has now been set for a March 26 North American release via Frontiers Records. The "ABachalypse Now" Ultimate CD/DVD Edition includes never-before-seen footage from last year's Graspop Metal Meeting festival in Dessel, Belgium, the full never-before-seen Hellfest set from France and the fully-remixed and remastered Nokia show from Los Angeles (originally broadcast on AXS TV), as well as bonus music videos. The DVD contains a running time of nearly 160 minutes.


Heart Releases Live Version of Stairway to Heaven

Heart has just released a digital download of its performance of "Stairway To Heaven" from their tribute to Led Zeppelin last month at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. The track, which is available via iTunes, also features Jason Bonham on drums. Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson made their bones covering Zeppelin tunes on their way up in the clubs of the Pacific Northwest and continue to revere the band.


Sevendust, Lacuna Coil, and Coal Chamber Announce Tour Dates

Sevendust and will join forces for a U.S. co-headlining tour in March/April. The trek will also feature special guests Lacuna Coil as direct support on each date, as well as Candlelight Red and Stolen Babies opening on either half of the run (see the split below).

Each member of Coal Chamber had words to share about the announcement.

"I'm STOKED to be bringing Coal Chamber back to the United States," exclaims vocalist Dez Fafara. "These shows are going to fucking rule! The lineup is perfect! Hope to see you all there!"


Bob Seger Announces 2013 Tour Dates

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band are heading back out on the road next month, with their first dozen 2013 shows just announced. The opening leg of Seger's Rock And Roll Never Forgets 2013 Tour kicks off on February 27th in Toledo, Ohio, and as of now, winds down on April 2nd in Denver, Colorado. The tour also includes stops in Seattle, Portland, Green Bay, and Grand Rapids -- along with a series of Canadian dates with shows in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. Additional dates will soon be announced.


Led Zeppelin Soon to be Streaming

Led Zeppelin is making in-roads into granting an online subscription service exclusive rights to stream the band's catalogue.

According to, among the companies in the running to stream Zeppelin's music are Spotify, Rhapsody, Rdio, and Deezer.


Kiss Members Getting Solo Comic Books

The members of Kiss are going to star in their own comic books again -- but this time as solo superheroes. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, IDW Publishing will launch a four-book series in March, with each book focusing on a different character from the band. The run will kick off with a story starring bassist Gene Simmons' "Demon" persona, inspired by the song "Radioactive" from his self-titled 1978 solo album.


The Stones to Play Coachella?

It looks as if the Rolling Stones will be performing at the 2013 edition of the Coachella Festival, according to Rolling Stone. An update appeared Friday morning (December 14th) on the tour section of the band's mobile app, listing an April 12th date in Indio, California and labeling it Coachella 2013. The annual alternative music festival has been staged at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio every year since its inception.

The date was taken down not long after it was posted, but not before a number of fans had taken screen captures of it. It was reportedly back up a few hours later.
