Dee Snider to Release Broadway CD & Autobiography

Dee Snider, the unmistakable front-man of the rock band Twisted Sister, will release his new studio album, "Dee Does Broadway", on May 8 via Razor & Tie. The CD features Dee's powerful voice and theatrical persona as he exudes his rock ' n' roll take on several Broadway classics. The new album will coincide with the release of his first-ever autobiography, "Shut Up And Give Me The Mic" (Gallery Books) on May 8.

Hard rock titan Rob Zombie has announced that production on his upcoming film ‘The Lords of Salem‘ is coming to a close and that he plans to enter the studio to begin work on a new album in June.


Aerosmith Putting Finishing Touches on New CD

Aerosmith are putting the finishing touches on their first studio album in 8 years, and preparing to return to the road this summer, says guitarist Joe Perry.

“We’re in the middle of a bunch of stuff,” Perry tells the QMI Agency. “I’m out here [Hollywood] finishing up the Aerosmith record that we started last summer. Hopefully we’ll have it done in the next month or so.”

“And we’re definitely touring this summer. We’re gonna put tickets on sale in February or March and we’re going on the road in June. Everybody’s lined up. We’re ready.”


Joe Satriani to Release Concert FIlm

Joe Satriani continues to juggle his Chickenfoot gig with his solo work. Joe will be releasing his concert film, "Satchurated," in select US theatres in March.
"Satchurated" was filmed live on "The Wormhole Tour" in support of Satriani's new album "Black Swans An Wormhole Wizards," at the Metropolis in Montreal on December 12, 2010.

"Satchurated" will be the first 3D theatrical concert film release with 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound for the ultimate cinematic experience.


KISS's Destroyer Marks 35 Years

KISS are marking the 35th Anniversary of their 1976 classic, “Destroyer,” next month.

Universal Music in Denmark has set a February 27 European release date (Feb 28 in North America) for the Deluxe Edition of the album.

The 2CD set will feature remixes of the original LP by producer Bob Ezrin, outtakes from the original sessions, and include the record’s original cover art.

Cooper fan site SickthingsUK reports Concert Live has set a February 13 release date for "No More Mr. Nice Guy Live", a two-CD remixed version of Cooper's October 29, 2011 show at London's Alexandra Place.
