Tesla - Live in Phoenix, AZ 11-10-13

On Sunday night November 10 I had the chance to check out Tesla at Talking Stick Resort. It was one of two shows the band did as they are in the studio recording a new album to be released in 2014.

Tesla is one of the rock bands that always puts on a great show, and of course this time was no different. These shows could definitely be summed up as a greatest hits show. I always loved that Tesla would start their shows with Comin Atcha Live but Sunday night was different. They guys started off with I Wanna Live from the Forever More album. From the start Jeff Keith sounded great and the guys seemed to be having a great time during the show. They even did a great version of the newest Tesla tune called Taste My Pain (which you can order off of iTunes).

Mama's Fool from Bust A Nut lead into the acoustic portion of the show, which is where the guys busted out a kick ass version of Comin Atcha Live, Private Ledbetter, and Paradise.

The guys then hit Signs, Love Song, and Modern Day Cowboy, which blew the roof of the place. The played Gettin Better which was super cool as I don't think in all the times I have seen the band I have heard that one live.

The show ended with a great performance of Little Suzie.

I have seen Tesla a number of times and these guys never disappoint. Any time I have the chance to see them I have and will continue to do so. I can't wait to hear the new music in 2014.
